I'm inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead right now so here's a little jewelry tutorial

These photos show step by step how to create a simple little necklace I created. The festive skull is crafted out of  Sculpey II clay:


next attach the clay piece to the jewelry finding with a jump ring (be sure to make the hole in the clay before baking :)


open up the end of an eye pin and attach to finding


load up the eye pin with a variety of beads and close the bottom end of eye pin with a small loop. I used a combination of about 5 or 6  different beads and mixed up the order for each pin, so they look varied but yet unified.


continue adding beads on eye pins of various lengths till you have filled all the spaces on the finding.
